Color in my pbass

I was actually curious with that same question.. Mine are around 3.5-4" and I can see sometimes a blue hint on the tip of their fins. Will they get their color then grow more rapid or will they grow just as equally into to their color? .
I also have a Lemon Oscar that is the same size that I'm watching to make sure he doesnt outgrow and eat my PBass.

Depending on what you have and the Quality they could color up now... Or it could take a year or more 
either way they are SA and Worth the wait

Wether Wild or Farmed will play a role in this aswell as diet, substrate, background and water params.. i know mine started colouring up between 6-8"
