Color of stand vs color in tank

If I'm aiming for a darker color in the tank, with spray painted black background, black sand, and maybe dark gray rocks...do you think a pine colored stand rather than a black colored one would take away from how the tank looks?

I'd use black sand. The contrast may make it look wierd, but I'm a visual person so IDK really.

I have seen black trim tanks sitting on pine coloured stands and it just doesn't look right to me.

get a black stand.

black on black on black. I have that look in my fishroom.

I have to disagree with the rest. My tank has black sand and the back is painted black. The tank stand and canopy are oak and it looks really sharp.
