anyone been the Great Wall China Buffet located in Lakewood, Colorado on S. Wadsworth??? If you have tell me what you see...hint hint the location of this thread.

oh asian aros? haha chinese gives the clue

Really...might have to check it out

Is the food any good?

bderick...lol...the food is good compared to other chinese buffets i've been to in colorado...let me know what you see and check out that pet store across from the buffet, i think its called aquamart and let me know if its any good...didn't have time to go in the shop.

yeah, food's ok, but they have a red aro, an rtg (i believe), some large silvers, a large fei feng and some big Parrots. They also have a large tank in the rear of the restaurant full of blood parrots with hole in the head.

Aquamart no longer has fw fish. They just have the supplies for fw fish (food, plant supplements and other misc fw supplies)

Well maybe I'll just skip going there. Amazing that there people who have these fish, not sure what the penelty would be. Heck there are even U.S. members here willing to take the chance posting pics of their RTGs :screwy: of course they claim it's just a random pic of the internet.

you can own asian arowana here, as long as you've been keeping it before the ban was in place. the people they go after are the smuggler /dealer who brings the fish into the us. usually not the keeper.

I really highly doubt that restaurant has had the aro for 20+ years, and no you can't own asian aros anywhere in the US unless you own a public aquarium or some other special reason.

and they do crack down on the keepers theres a thread floating around about officials wanting to take away a snakehead from a keeper in NY(?) and he owned it even before the ban.
