does anyone have an idea on how to make my glass divider not see through i mean color it or something?

Paint--------------------Regular spray paint works well. I have used it many times for painting tubes in the tank for hiding air lines and heater wiring inside of them. Or if you are worried about the paint like so many are then take a metal scouring pad and scrub that piece of glass it will lightly scratch it and give it a frosted look like bathroom windows in houses.
I'd lightly scour it myself. That way you still get the light going through it, but it won't be as much. Plus you can scour a pattern on it if you would like.
