I am looking into building a pond in my basement and I would like to keep it cheaper on the build so I can put more $$ into filters and heaters.

My question is can you buy colored pond liners? I would like to not use black unless I have to and I don't want to spend 800 bucks to get colored pond armour.

I have found this site and they are out of the country and I think that shipping on a liner the size I'm looking for would cost to much to ship.

But thanks.

Spend $200 on a bucket of Pond Coat.

It's going to cost around $200 to get a blakc pond liner and it's going to cost at Least $700 to buy the pond coating that I want.

so you can see the reason I jsut don't go with that option however good it seems.

Another roofing product besides epdm would be tpo (thermo plastic olifin). It is white. wouldnt trust dying or coating rubber(epdm). The seams are heat welded as oppossed to splice for rubber seams. I would check with a local roofing company. I have been in roofing buisness for over 12 years I also live in ohio so if close let me know and would try to a piece. fairly comparable to price of rubber

use pondtite and add concrete colouring pondtite comes in blue, black or clear and is fish safe

sorry everyone I've kind of forgot about this thread. I think that I'm going to just go with the sweetwater epoxy paint. I can get it in a wide aray of colors (I'll be going with light blue) and I feel it will hold up to any abuse that large armoured catfish may toss it's way better then a liner.
