Colorful male Jack Dempsey

These are some quick shots I took with my iPhone of my Jack Dempsey. It's the nicest looking JD I've owned. It's also really outgoing and swims around the tank constantly. Most of the JDs I've kept have been shy. It's kept alone in a 50 gallon tank (with a big pleco).

Thanks. He's about 7 inches TL. Yeah, Jack Dempseys are so common that they tend to get overlooked for the rarer, cooler Central American cichlids (beani, grammodes, all Parachromis, cubans, istlanum, carpintis, etc.).
