Colorful tankmates?

I just picked up some geophagus tapajos and wanted to know what other colorful fish would be able to thrive with my black arowana? Do geos make good tankmates, seems like they would stay on the bottom and fill the tank nicely.

What about other colorful fish that would make good tankmates? Any suggestions?

Hi, have no idea on the geos but just thought i'd share my tankmates that i got for my black aro which are a couple of bichirs and they go great together imo. =)

Rotkeil severums, clown loaches, flagtails, or even discus.

Yeah I love super reds, I just have a hard time finding them here in North Texas!!!
