Hi everyone. I've raised oscars before: Albino tiger, albino red, black tiger and black reds. I was looking around and found 2 oscars that looked totally different from ones I've seen so I bought them for my 186 gallon. They look like albino tigers but there's hardly any red marks on their bodies. The thing that intrigued me was that they look like a cross between a black and albino oscar. The edges of their fins are black and the black color lightens on the body. I hope you can see the colors from the pictures. If someone have seen or raised some like mines, how do they end up looking?

Mine look the same they are called lutino oscars not albino ( a common used name in pet stores) a true albino is completely white with no pigment around the fins or body at all except for reddish eyes these are quite commonly sold oscar types in pet stores like petsmart and petco
This is my "albino" lutino oscar actually as you can see it has light black around the fins it's completely normal and I'm sorry to say it is not unique it's quite common nice oscar though
