Colourful Siamese tiger to share

Hi, everyone. My ST has been changing colour from time to time

Size is 16inch only. So tank base play a important part too. Just a tip from a ST newbie...

Pic 1 is yellow base ST when I just got the ST.

Pic 2 change to dark orange base about 4month inside total black tank.

Pic 3 change to white base after changing to clear tank with white gravel.

Pic 4 change back to yellow base after changing to all side clear expect base is white oyama.

Nice ST....Ive noticed the same. Gravel, background color all plays a part.

after each tank background and substrate change.... how long did it take the ST to change his basecolours?? a few days, or a few months?

And how long did you leave each background change? Just wondering cause whenever I change tank set up for my indo's, I ilways leave it for 3 - 4 months before changing again.

what can we do? Are there any breeding projects from the Thai Gov't?

Nothing can be done until someone figures out how to breed them. Many have tried and failed.
