I can't prove the sex of a columbian shark, but I think I noticed two major differences. One, I truly believe I have a female that is currently holding eggs. I think I have another female because of the wider body size. But I also noticed that "females" their pelvic fins are much longer. Any other observation?
Also, I believe the males are mouth brooders. It seems they have created a "nest" in the tank by clearing the gravel to the bare bottom. Can I create a more comfortable environment that you may know? Cave?
I feel bad that I'm not using sand and that they are moving these large pieces of gravel by using a swimming motion in one spot.
