I have a fifty gallon Brackish tank. It's unfortunately in a sun lit room. When it was a fresh water tank and I had my Bristlenosed pleco's in it it wasn't any problem. But now that it's brackish and has a Green spotted puffer in it I can't do snails or pleco's. Any ideas? (Also has an Archer but I don't count him because he'll be going away soon.)

You're going to have to do your own maid service in that tank. Even the algae-eating mollies will eventually be eaten by a GSP.

I did keep them together & eventually they got eaten but some of the fry escaped the pufferteeth & grew into adults, so I had them around for some time, before they all became dinner. They kept the tank spotless. As soon as the last one was gone, the algae came back. Can't you move the tank elsewhere?
