My area is monopolized by AT&T & Comcast. Those are the only choices I have for internet. I've had AT&T for several years. I have the 6mbps Elite package which is the fastest I can get unless I get there Uverse crap packages. I'm getting really fed up with their crappy internet. It's slow, and has outages all the time. Actual download speeds are typically 2-4mbps.

I'm thinking of switching to Comcast. They have the 15mbps package for $30 (first 6 months). Those that have Comcast, how's their internet? Are the connections stable? Are download speeds close to what they advertise? Are the download speeds consistent?

:)

Comcast. Its Comcastic.

For real, I miss it... we moved to Boise and its AT&T or Qwest here and I miss Comcast SO MUCH

Never heard of Comcastic. Hmmmm.... we have more selection here.

Time Warner(cable), Suddenlink(cable), AT&T(DSL and satellite), Earthlink(DSL), Clear (satellite) and Verizon wireless (satellite)

I have suddenlink... we had AT&T(DSL) before. My wife complains of the cost and wants to go back to the slower AT&T

I had Comcast, moved and now have Qwest. Comcast > Qwest by a long shot. We were paying for 10mbps but were getting twice that. The best I can get with Qwest now is 3mbps, but it's more like 1.5mbps. :( Qwest craps out all the time and Comcast never did.

Only having used those two Comcast was by far the better.

im in baltimore dont no where u are. we got verizion or comcast. I like comcast better for the net but i like direct tv for tv

Yeah this would be internet only. I have Directv too and don't plan on switching. House phone we don't even have.

Good to hear people like Comcast. Might pull the trigger :)

I have Comcast. Never had any issues with the Internet.

Comcast in my area sucks. And it's over priced. I find it to be slow, and when you want to upgrade speeds, they wan to charge some absurd amount.

Can you get Clear? It's Satellite internet. It's affordable, and extremely fast!

I haven't had any problems w/ the comcast/bresnan internet and I've had it for like 8 years. Been wanting to switch to DirectTV, so I'll have to check Clear out...looks like they cover Denver, including my current address
