Here's a couple pics of my new irwini with my niger. The niger wants to be his buddy but the irwini wont leave his driftwood.

Yeah two of my favorites.My Niger is pushing twelve inches and there is nothing like a good looking Irwnii,hope to be able to get one soon.

The 2 fish are almost exactly the same age and were both picked up at 4". The niger shot to his current 32" and the irwini is still 12.5". I don't see him growing too quick at this point b/c he'd rather sleep than eat

How long did that take?.
I think my two megas are fantastic,one is growing and the other has GROWN!!!

The niger grew very fast at first and had most of it's current size after 2 years. She has probably only added a few inches since then.

So in about 2 years it was already over 2' since you said it's only grown a little bit since then.
