Comet NEOWISE

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I wasn't able to see Neowise from my home due to the mature trees blocking the comet's trajectory and I was too lazy to go out to a better viewing area. I'll just wait until the next time it comes around.

I had the same problem and did the same thing to solve it. Plenty of other pics of it and way better than anything I would have taken

That's a great pic. I'm well into stuff like this, I find space fascinating. Thing is, living in the uk we barely get enough clear skies to view anything. I don't think i've seen the moon for about 25 years, let alone very cool things like that. Lol.

It was a bit of serendipity for me to get this shot and a handful of others. We're in the monsoon season in Florida right now- it is almost always at a bare minimum cloudy with 100% humidity making the sky super hazy this time of year, with thunderstorms from around dinner time until well after the sunset being extremely common.

It just so happened for me that for a few days right as the comet was at its peak, humidity was super low and there wasn't a cloud to be seen. It was amazing. I was quite thankful for the opportunity to have seen this thing!

Nice picture! I tried so hard to get a picture and nothing turned out!
My telescope even crapped out on me?
