Hello, I am Skipp Washington. Hope to find this forum to be a friendly one. Looking to pick some brains and help when I can. I ran a popular pet shop in the metro Detroit area for three years, but have been a fish/reptile lover all my life, not just eating them either!!
Always been into the odd-balls, have had almost every snakehead species long before they became popular here in the US. A friend of mine John Hassenplug who owned a shop called Wet-Pet was an importer of very rare fish back in the day. Have kept several different Polypterus, Tigerfish (Datniodes), Archerfish (Toxotes) Pikeheads (Luciocephalus Pulcher) Frail Gouramis (Ctenops Nobilis) and many others. Got out of aquariums for a while and did maintenance for a while but getting back into the hobby. Great meeting you all.
