Afternoon fellow keepers,

Joined this site in i believe 2008 and have not had a tank since 2011. Picked up a 55 gallon on a whim/steal the other day and am excited to get back into it. I know 55 gal wont cut it for anything "monster" but I figured I would come back to the place i knew best.

Back then there were only local shops to get anything of quality but now we have amazon and the internet. Where are good places to start? I am in Phoenix and will stop by Discount Aquarium in Tempe later. Just didnt know what reliable sites exist these days?

Fluval canisters are still pretty good, I have several of them. Heaters are still hit-or-miss. Lighting has probably seen the most upgrades, with LEDs and wi-fi technology.

If you want to order fish online, Tangled up in cichlids, and imperial tropicals are both great! I've heard good things about cichlids of the Americas also but I have not ordered from them yet.
