I joined in 2006 thinking about getting an Oscar but hubby was not ready for a new Oscar. We had lost one that we had for 10 years that he was really bonded with.
So I got some parrot fish but never liked them so re homed and got goldfish. I still have several goldfish but hubby and I were talking last night and he mentioned he would like an Oscar again. Hubby never much cared for the goldfish either.
My tanks have breed (lol) and after people giving me a couple and so forth I am up to 6 fish tanks. (see Sig)
So we have a new Oscar (see my post on him.)
I am so excited about having Karma. For now he is in the 55 gallon alone. I know I well have to start looking for a 75 gallon at some point but right now he is lost in that tank. lol
We also have lots of other pets, 8 parrots (mine), 8 dogs(mine and his), 1 cat(his), 2 bearded dragons(his), and the 6 fish tanks(mine and his).
We have been together 22 years. We decided not to have children cause of my liver transplant and me being on so many drugs cause of the transplant.
I love to play WOW, crochet, go camping and lurk on forums. I am a parrot nanny have been for the past 3 years. I work about 20 hours a week. Hubby is a painter and he mows lawns. He has been in business for himself for about 8 years now.
