Hello
I have quite small tank 200x60x40h and i want to have groupe of crenicichla. I think about c. minuano or c. missioneira. Which of them can live in group? Mayby u have other species from Urugway who are interesting and i dont know about them ;)

in cm :)
I hope to have in this tank groupe of creni.
In main tank 250x80x70h i will have only G. gymnogemys, labiatus and rhabdotus with Australoheros.

Tank isn't too small. Most Uruguayan pikes can work except for vittata. I hear punctata can be quite vicious as well.

Minuano are insectivores I believe. Missionera should also work. Both are rather drab. The saxatilis type species from there can look quite good and females look great with the red bellies. I had a large male WC from Uruguay that had great pearling on its flanks and very long streamers to his finals.

Lastly, as I said before. The celidochilus are the nicest IMO.

All pikes r insectivorous(primarily) in nature, they can be kept with angelfish, discus, leaffish, banjo cats etc

Not sure what your quote is saying. Only a few species are safe with discus and not all pikes are insectivores.
