any comments on Tenecor's Simplicity Plus aquarium packages? comes with everything you need from filtartion to lighting. does the system work? especially the filter?
I haven't used Tenecor Simplicity Plus, but I have used a tank with the wet/dry built into the back of the tank. I will never do that again...
Major issues for me:
Access to the filter was miserable since you have to do any/all maintenance by getting a step stool and hovering over the back of the tank. Admittedly, about all that normally needed cleaning was the mechanical filter, but the couple of times I had to dig into the filter were nightmares.
In my tank (Tenecor may be different) there was no way to know how much water to put in after a water change. The wet/dry filter should not be covered with water, but there much be enough water to cover the pump inlet. There was no way to see this, so I guessed. When I blew it, the bio filtration wasn't enough to keep my fish alive.
