Commercial filtration setup at a job I'm on

This is a setup at a food plant that I'm doing the plumbing at. The RO system does 6-7 gpm with a 5,000 gallon storage tank, it has 4 180 gallon carbon filters and a 34 or 39 watt uv sterilizer

What is the reason for using a conical bottom storage tank vs a flat bottom?

I think the slant bottom results in higher water pressure also

One reason for the slant is so when they disinfect and drain the tank there is no standing water left in the tank
