Common Plec or not?

I've always thought this guy was a common pleco...but someone said he's a sailfin, which I disagree with. Anyone?

His name is Hoover. I name my pleco's after vacuum cleaners.

Well I stand corrected then, thanks guys! He's a neat fish to watch, spends his day on the driftwood, always in the same spot, then all of a sudden goes on a swimming spree around the tank with his fins all spread out. Really pretty fish.

He is not a sailfin...it's a common, besides lacking the brick-like pattern. Sailfins are orange in color.

The only reason I even considered he may not be a common despite what my friend said was his colouration. All my other commons I've had have always been black or black mottled....this guy has no black on him at all. Despite the picture, he is very brown/tan. So I'm assuming commons can come in a variety of colours, I just happened to always get black ones.
