Common Pleco Food

i feed my pleco algea disks, cantelope occasionally
and usually it comes up for pellets and eats mysis shrimp and blood worms from my floors along with my drift wood.

what are some good food for plecos.
i'm thinking of just searching up "FOOD for Pleco's"
and just going with the basics.

any recommendations?

You should try to feed it a variety. Zucchini, Algae Wafers, Cut pieces of Shrimp (depending on the Pleco), etc.

i hit some good suggestions on the first site i looked at.

sinking pellets, romaine lettuce, parboiled zucchini, sweet potato, squash, and green peas

Pumpkin works well also. If it is a carnivore they probally will not touch any veggies like my L-160 and L-24.

lol i came home one day and there was a danio at the bottom of the tank with my pleco feasting on it's scales.
