common pleco

im getin rid of my common pleco to my lfs they said they would give me 6 bucks for it and he is about 7 or 8 inches and they sell 3 inch common plecos for 6.99 so idk what to do any sugustions

I agree, take the money and run before they change their minds . . . my LFS will only take them for free, and grudgingly at that . . .

Yes you are fortunate cause pet shops don't buy fish at retail just to sale it at retail. People forget that sometimes! Plecos, oscars, pacus, and common goldfishes get moderately cheaper by the inch as they get bigger! LOL!

Your'e lucky most stores will only take them. I got 15 bucks for a large fancy one.LFS are in biz to sell fish not buy. Even if he was to give you nothing be glad he is taking it as some will not even do that with common plecos.

i was also thinking about pickin up a royal pleco from another lfs in my area but they want 50 bucks and its about 6 inches is that a fair price for one
