Hey guys, I believe my local pet store has been mistaking some of their common plecostamus's for High fins and bristlenoses. SCORE :) haha

After checking them out several times, I came to the conclusion they werent just commons. I believe they are bristlenoses (they have spots and are starting to sprout whiskers) And the high fin spotted plecos...
But i could be wrong... Either way I bought all of them ;)
What do you guys think??

^ X2, unless you can get some clear pics its pretty much impossible for us to tell... so comparing to photos online maybe your best bet...

We need clearer pictures. Im now sure if im looking at a pleco or a hippo. In all seriousness though, based on what I can see they look like commons. All bristles I've seen have white tips on their tails and flatter heads.

Ya, clearer pictures are really needed, but the last picture is a sailfin pleco, which still gets very large and are not much better than commons

How about this, today I will go back to my store and buy a common and a bristlenose and try and take some really high quality pictures (not for certain how i will do that yet with a iphone)

But either way I can be happy about getting bristlenoses for 3 bucks comeon! Just think in a year how much would a 6 inch bristlenose go for compared to a 6 inch common... some one on here has to think thats cool (or maybe im a nerd for plecos :) )
