read over this and tell me if im over reacting or this is unacceptable comment made towards another employee?
So anyways i work for a property management group as a building engineer you could call it a maintenance tech whatever.
Basically i have 2 commercial properties that i take care of.
On of my tenants on the way out the door at 430 said can you please take a look at the doors to our space tomorrow they dont seem to be closing on there own we have to pull them closed, at which point i responded OF COURSE
im always very happy to help my tenants and would never do anything to put there companies at risk however
i called in sick yesterday because 1 i was feeling like crap and 2 i was feeling like crap.
the tenant called one of the senior engineers and they told one of the other guys to take care of it.
so this guy comes over and calls gladd security and they come over and fix ONE of the doors the other one is still up in the air
however the end product ended in a email basically taking a stab at my common sense

"The pat on the back should go to ----. I sent him there with instructions to
do whatever it took to get the doors up and running before the end of the
day. He made the decision to call Gladd because neither closer was working
properly. I thought of Ccing ---- on this email so she knows that not all
our engineers are unable to use common sense, but I decided that decision
should be up to you."
