Very much south..
Just your quick opinion, please. Would you join 3 Common Snapers in the same place?

One has always been alone ( is still a juvie ) and there is a possibility that I get a pair ( as rescue ).... would you risk joining?

Tks:)

Miguel I've kept many snaps...with juvies up to 4in/10cm probably you'd be safe, but with adults it would be risky. If you had a big enough tank/pool/trough whatever aggression probably wouldn't be an issue (underwater in their element they really aren't that aggro anyway), but you've seen them eat...I'd worry about serious injuries during feeding.

You can keep them together as long as you dont mind them having mangled feet and legs. ;)

Yeah, I wouldn't really consider it unless you had a big set up for them. You could build an outdoor enclousre for them with a large pond and then you should be ok. Oh yeah, your turtles should probably be close to the same size as well so no one gets bullied.

Ok.....another tank, then ..

You know what they say in reptile-keeping:

"When in doubt, seperate"

yes..I'll try to post a pic of the male tonight....immense beast

I had good luck with a pair, 14" inch male and 20" female, in a 2000 gallon pond but I think the only reason that worked was because they had tons of room.
