common snapping turtle prob.

can someone give me ideas on an under water shelter for my 3.5 inch snapping turtle. he likes to hide under my filter and im sick of puting it back where it goes like 5 times a day. please don't say rocks. my map turtle just died two months ago becouse it got caught under a rock
this is my first time owning turtles (i also have two red eared sliders) so any other advice would be good.

Plastic and clay flower pots are always nice.

Hmm you could try a flower pot cut into a hideing spot or something

Rocks would be good for holding down the filter but if you don't wan't rocks then i'd go with the flower pot idea or a piece of driftwood i like driftwood personally with the right one it gives them something to hide under and crawl onto to bask

i use rocks to hold down the filter. they arn't very big though.
ima try the flower pot idea but any more natural ideas besides drift wood.
i have drift wood in there but then you can't see him.

Big peaces of cork and drif wood are the best. Cheap natural plants like Elodea are also very good
