common tank height for 96x48 base size

whats a common height for a tank with a base of 96 by 48 inches? thanks

Well, tanks that size are likely custom, but I would think most would be around 30-36"-maybe a little shorter, maybe a little taller

id probably say 36 inches would be more likely. i figured that a height of 24 inches on a tank of that size is kinda odd shaped.

I'd say around 30 inches give or take. A tank that size wouldn't look right unless it was tall too. 36 inches would be even better.

the tank will have rays and a silver arowana in it. so it needs to be big.....

If it wouldn't be such a massive piece of glass/acrylic and such a PITA to clean, it would look pretty cool if it were 96X48X48, but at that size, you'd really have to basically get in the tank to do anything beyond a water change

true. my tank has a height of 25 inches and i have to roll up my sleeves so they dont get wet.
