I have a common pleco. Perfect condition. Maybe 5"-6". Maybe trading him into my lfs for some credit. How much should I expect to get and what is fair? I know it depends on locale etc but I'm just looking for a roundabout number. Thanks.

They didn't give me anything for mine. And i had 2. 18"+ and 13". They didnt even give me feeders for them. I was upset but oh well.

Yeah that sucks. But they told me the bigger they are the less they're worth. My relation was but it makes sense. It's gonna be a lot harder for the average lfs to sell an 18" common vs a 5". They can still fool unaware noobs that it's fine in their 20 long! Lol not many wanna buy an 18" fish.

Honestly, I'd just give it away free here on the forum. You'll make a local mfk friend. That's a lot more valuable than anything you'll ever get from LFS for it.
