Common Wolf + Electric Cat?

I asked the owner of a local pet store i go to, a couple months ago when I got my common wolf if any tank mates are viable and he said he never found a tank mate that worked with common wolfs. I asked him about the electric catfish and hes skeptical about putting it with a wolf. Would the shock be enough to kill the wolf? The wolf wouldn't be able to kill the catfish he said but visa versa is likely he thought. Thanks.

a 10" electric cat generates enough electric to kill a 20" predatory fish. or stun it. so depends on what size your cat and wolf is, but i wouldn't do it.

im sure the common wolf would not stand against an electric cat.
