i just got a new common pleco from a friend who didn't have a tank big enough to keep it in. i was just wondering, iv heard its bad to keep a pleco in acrylic but what about pond liner? it shouldn't damage that right?

why would it be bad to keep a common plec or any plec in acrylic

cuz royals can actually destroy the acrylic by scraping it down to a thin layer??

commons should be no problem.
