I would like to coordinate getting a new tee design put together that is an CA/SA cichlid instead of aro, pbass etc.. Lets compile a list of species we think would represent monsters but also CA/SA. I'll take this to the staff and see if we can get the chosen species on the next tee design.

Rules:
1) must be a CA/SA cihlid.
2) Post only your #1 species you want "shirted" (reposting an already mentioned species is fine)
3) Be color blind when selecting your species, the print will likely be black or white only.
4) No member specific fish, only species (fish "x" not member "ABC's" fish "x")
5) This thread will be deleted Sunday night and I will take the species posted and start a poll, we will let the community choose what species should be represented from there.

Sound good? All feedback is welcome (this being the discussion thread as well as species recommendations). If you would like to contribute or assist in the design, please contact me via private message directly.

My selection is Parachromis dovii :D looking forward to hearing everyone else's.

Something that separates CA/SA's apart from Africans and others. Tall bodied large finned fish fit that bill. I'd say Midas, but that's been done a few times. Since colors not a issue,
maybe patterns. Cyannoguttatus, Maculicauda or ?. Final answer, Large male big spot Carpintis Escondido with an impressive hump and flared fins.

Have we done a midas tee before? I must have missed it.

I second Parachromis dovii. Never kept the species, but it has a mean look, meaner attitude, and I think is a great representation of what many of us look for in CA species.
