Excellent advice from Oddball as usual. Keep in mind that South American Puffers have rather fast growing teeth, but they are the most-community oriented puffer I know of.Oddball;3896003; said:With any puffer it's a gamble. At the very least, count on the occassional nipped fin from an asellus or travancoricus puffer (these are FW BTW). The walmart puffers such as the GSP and figure 8 are very tenacious and will harm a comm setup. They're also wrongly sold in FW tanks. These species require brackish conditions with steady increases in salinity until they reach full marine conditions as adults.
