might be able to do it they are more terrestrial than most amphibs sold in stores but they can and do very well in 50 50 land water set ups they just need to get a steady diet of crickets to keep up their weight.

false flying fo, oto, 4 gambusia, 3 guppys, 1 tiger botia, 2 SA bumblebee cats, 1 USD cat, 1 elephant nose, ram, 2 serpe tetras, Blind cave fish and a shell dweller african that was dumped off on me and I had nowhere to put him.. He acts like a goldfish now.
other than being damn crowded with goldfish and tropicals should be ok....just make sure nothign picks on the fire belly. he'll probably spend his free time on the drfitwood or water hyacinth.
