Ok guys I'm back with a question thats pretty much based off your experiences. I seem to be allergic to bloodworm. My fish eat brine shrimp but don't seem to attack it with the same enthusiasm as the did with the bloodworm. I have tried beefheart, flake, and pellet but theres not much interest. Has anyone with bloodworm allergies tried any other worm type foods and avoided allergic reactions? If you have bloodworm allergies, have you tried tubifex instead with any success? Stock includes 3 bala, 1 red tail shark, brown knife, zigzag eel, 1 synodontis.....

Using gloves when feeding bloodworms doesn't work. While feeding i'm ok but during any tank maintainance, my skin gets irritated due to the contamination in the water. While feeding I'm ok but then any time I'm in the tank i have to be extremely careful. I'd rather not break out into hives anytime water gets on my skin. Now after water changes I dont have issues, so on to the next problem. I need something that my fish will love rather than something that they just tolerate eating....... any ideas?

Bloodworms doesn't really have any nutrition for fish, so just skip it all together, feed something else, and eventually your fish will realize that they get what you feed them, or they starve.

Just because they don't aggressively attack it doesn't mean they don't like it.
