Community with a centerpiece

Hi I have a 5ft by 2 x 2 tank.

I am looking for either a group or a pair to go into a community tank with medium tetras & rainbow fish in it. any suggestions.

group of nics (Hypsophrys Nicaraguensis would be sick I am also doing a similer set . good looking fish also not so aggressive.

You could try:blue acaras, severums, geos, chocolates. I would start them small then maybe they learn to live with the schoolers.but there is still a chance that as those fish get to adult size they pick-off a few
