I have a female jag, an Oscar, a jack dempsey and a green terror which will be moved to my 260 in a week or two, is there any chance at all that a female festae and a Texas could be added, or just one of them? I know what the answer probably is but I know alot with big Americans comes down to each fishes personality and all of my fish get on great. I've finally found someone here who can get a hold of festaes and don't want to pass it up if there's a chance it'll work.

In a 260, I would say it is certainly possible to add the Female Festae or Texas. Success will mostly depend on the genders and individual temperament within the stock. Of course, if you raise them from juveniles your much more likely to succeed. In terms of your stocking size it seems appropriate, but the Oscar may be at risk living in such an aggressive community.

Think I'll give it a go, I'll keep an eye on the Oscar but I should have a while before I have any problems as I've heard festaes are slow growers and I would imagine a female will be even slower..
