Can anyone tell me in there experience if I can keep (Apteronotus albifrons - Black ghost knives) together with (Gymnotus carapo - Carpo knives) ?

I would say that black ghosts are not agressive towards other species. they can pick at their own. I have 4 together in a tank with 3 african knives and a black aro, and everything goes smoothly with the black ghosts chasing each other, but without stress.

This is my experience.. there are guys surely with different experiences

Thank you for any information I can find through others experience. Though I have had knifes over the years I never keep more then one at a time. I would really love to add a second BGK but thought it was not recommended but now you make me wonder. What size tank do you keep them in btw?
