So I am about to sell my live stock from my 56g SW tank tomorrow to a buddy who reeeeeeally wants my mantis/clowns/LTA ($$$$ WINNING!!!) and I was thinking of going with a more community style tank. I plan on getting a marine betta, some kind of smaller sand sifting gobies that get along with each other (2 or 3) and a few cleaner shrimp, and a nice maxima clam.

Here is the question, I would really like to add a Fumanchu lion...they are one of my favorie looking fish that I have never kept. How much of a threat to the other fish would a dwarf lion be?

The Fu will eat everything that can fit into its mouth...I have had lions that were also bullies...and I have had lions that got bullied. All depends on the fish, but anything smaller than the mouth (which you would be surprised about how big it can open) should be named lunch.

I just looked at a couple of sites, most say it's ok for a single betta to be in a 50 gallon...and others say min is 75.

Also based on the tank size some say that thier are bettas who constantly travel around the tank like a tang...and other who act more like a grouper (I think they are groupers) staying in a cave waiting for food.

This is a 50/50 show lol...guess it's based on the personality?

They are a serranid...and they are mainly nocturnal I think.

Never seen one that was super active...maybe by itself when it got used to its surroundings/owner.
