Do you think I would be able to keep Tanganikan Compressieps(Yellow Head) with venustus? I know you are not normally supposed to mix malawi & Tang's, but I have heard neither species is overly aggressive

venustus are some what aggressive, I would not mix these two. I do have a comp with my haps/peacocks but he hides a lot and is on the low end of the pecking order. My front/comp tank works much better and I get more natural behavior from them.
