I was wondering if you had a large enough aquarium, could you put fish together that would not normaly be compatable? for example an Armatus, Peacock bass, jardini, and a wolf fish in a 3000 gallon tank.

dont hold my words close but i would think they might

The 5500g video in the vids section has a armatus in it with other fish I believe. Obviously the armatus and the wolf fish would be the ones to worry about. IMO more so the armatus.

If the tank was divided

Nah, just kidding. It COULD work, I think, but you never know.

i will test if someone funds me.........................lol how do you think it works in the wild :)

Fish still get eaten and killed in the wild. Out of so many fish born only a certain percentage survive.

So you really DON'T want a tank to be a demonstration of what happens in the wild....

For the original poster - The larger the tank the less chance for aggression since everyone has a lot of room, but mixing so called incompatable fish can cause issues even in very large tanks.

Public aquariums have used your exact logic and ended up with one fish eating or killing others unexpectedly.
