whaat is a good bottom dweeler that can coexist with a cichla aroun 2-4 inches

at that small, i wouldn't have any. Polys are too slow to eat and would probably not get much food, depending on what the bass eat. And you don't want fish that are fast and move a lot as to scare the sensitive bass. I'm not saying there isn't anything that would work, I'm just saying I think it's best to keep bass by themselves at that size. Buth, then again, I'm no expert or even anywhere close.

when my cichla were that size i had a couple of plecos and an albino senegal bichir.. worked fine for me.
