compatability

hi i was just wondering if a red sailfin wolffish is compatable with other fish as i've heard they only get to 8" ?

in my experience there was fighting and chasing. i had it in a 150g with some convicts, jack dempsey, pearl scale cichlid. and a H. malabaricus(common wolf). it only fought with the dempsey and wolf.
And yes they do grow to around 8"
