I have a Scorpion Fu manchu Lionfish, i now have with him
1 foxface
1 sixline wrasse
1 blue devil damsel
1 yellow dwarf rock angel
1 spider hermit crab

had an arrow crab but somone took him out , not sure if it was the lionfish but i really dont have many inverts . i would like some more but what is compatable with my lion being he is an invert eater?

My Fuzzy dwarf lives with a large cleaner shrimp, in addition to hermit crabs & lots of snails.

the hermits will be safe but watchout for the 6line, one night he's sleeping, the next he's lion fodder

Does yours eat prepared foods? My fuzzy never even glanced at my cleaner shrimp or anything else, he only cared about frozen or dried foods. As long as the inverts are big enough he probably won't care about them.

He rarley ever eats prepared foods.. When i purchased him from the store they were feeding him guppies and thats what he really goes after.. i have put live brine shrimp in there and he has ate those but i cant constantly buy live brine.. and he wont eat the frozen brine .. what else does anyone suggest???!!

You have to bounce food on the end of a thread, so it looks alive. Make sure he's nice & hungry 1st though.

I got my wolf eel blenny to eat frozen food the 2nd day I had him by dangling cocktail shrimp on fishing line. Don't dangle it too far below the surface though or you risk tangling the fish in the line. Well, not as much of a risk with your lionfish, but my wolf eel does a death roll and it made me kind of nervous. :WHOA:
Have you tried frozen or dried krill? My fuzzy really loved that.

i usually plop in one of the cubes that comes in the marine cusine frozen packages.. today he ate a little bit of frozen brine shrimp and that is because i have fed him feeders.

Do not feed frozen foods without thawing 1st! The cold food isn't good for their stomach & all that juice just adds unwanted phosphates & nitrates to your tank. Thaw in warm water & rinse in a brine shrimp net, before feeding.

thanks man you've replyed on almost everyone of my posts , i really appreciate it.. your alot of help... another question.. ive got micro bubbles comming out of my skimmer into the water.. it seems to do this more when i feed... is this bad for the fish because i have heard that those bubbles stress out fish??!!
