I need a new 55 gallon tank for my catfish. I believe he is a "false upsidedown" cat, or syndontis nigrita. {After reading various info here I'm beginning to think he is an s. eupterus however.} I have only had him for about two months and he has just about doubled his size in that time, to about 3".
At any rate, the tank already has "small" angels, parrots, dollars, and a couple of unidentified "bottom feeders." This is the list the owner gave me, and she has so far not let me know how many each though in the photos I saw, the tank looked fairly empty. My only other info, also from the photos, is that there two parrots and they seemed to be the largest fish in the tank.
I have a few questions:
1st: Are the current occupants truly compatible with eachother?
2nd: Does anyone see a problem with the cat and any of the above mentioned fish?
3rd: If the above answers are yes and no, and this looks like a good match, I would love any other input anyone wants to offer!!!
