Hi everyone - I have recently got two transparent fish or glass fish as it is called, and two black ghost knife fish. Can both of these breeds stay in the same tank ... How compatible are they with each other..Anyone having information on this ...?

theyll be completely fine together

Lot of people have issues with two BGK together.

I know BGK are pretty territorial and will fight, but there has been some success with keeping more than one BGK in a tank. I think Glass Fish are light Brackish. Not too sure though...anyone know for sure?

Both the BKG's are doing fine, but I am not sure of the glass fish to be introduced to the same tank. My tank is of a medium size, so there is no question of being cramped, but I have heard that since the BKG's have a fairly large mouth, they may gulp up my glass fish which are as tiny as my little finger.. So shall I give it a try to put them into the same tank ? In case they gulp it up, I can pull it back from its mouth you know....

How big are your black ghosts. and whats a medium sized tank. The problem with having mutiple black ghosts I thought was not due to them being territorial but the electrical impluses they emmit to find their food. I've only had one at a time, never had a problem with either of the two I had eating anybody else in the tank, but every fish is different.

Its a 75 gallon tank.:nilly:

BGK's are peaceful fish but
they did electricute my black moor cause he playfully bothered them and killed him.:WHOA:

so just wanted to know if my two glass fish can stay with them?:D

i wouldn't rish the two blacks together, you can try the glass fish with htem, but you don't seem to convinced yourself that it will work out lol
