What size tank? It would probably be fine just make sure the goby can't eat the jag and that the jag isn't bullying the goby

180. the goby is probably 8" now and the jag is around 6"... im just scared the jag will mature and beat the crap out of the goby, but they have this mutual respect thing going right now which i hope will last. other tankmates are a common pleco and a baby american rtc (yes i know how big they get, im growing it out for my friends pond)

Sounds good to me just give the goby some places to hide and make sure it doesn't get too much bigger than the jag, they've got a big mouth and a big appetite
