Compatibility question

I currently have 2 juvenile senegal bichirs (between 3 and 4") and a school of small silver dollars (8 of them all under 2 inches long) and i'm debating adding one more fish to the tank. I figure i'd ask opinion for compatibility, and ask max size they get. I appreciate the input in advance, here is the list:

Jack Dempsey
Striped Raphael
Black Convict
Firemouth Cichlid

- Again, I'm looking to potentially add just one of these 4 fish, and would like to verify their max sizes and compatibility with the fish already in the tank. Thanks

what's your tank size to begin with.. the raphael is a good choice but stays on the bottom of you tank, it mostly comes out at night.. ; it's a cool fish that you won't see much of.. potentially 10" but it will take years and years..

JD; it's a cichlid.. it may work just fine but it may also turn into a pest that you'd like to shotgunifie.. it's a hit and miss.. 12" for a male, the female smaller..

Convicts.. still a cichlid.. just smaller..

and firemouth.. a cichlid that I know nothing about.. I'd guess it's a little more mild tempered than jd's and may work..

Keep the stock you have... Or add another bichir. The list you provided will end up making this a war zone. It's only a 45 gal, right?

yeah 3' x 1' footprint, thats why im asking i don't wanna overdo it - i figured the JD is probably way too much but i didn't know if a single convict firemouth or raphael would really cause that many problems

The Raphael would probably be ok, but it'll be a big fish, that should be in a bigger tank IMO. The convicts are nasty little buggers. They have the fight of a much bigger fish. I don't know anything about firemouths, but I have a feeling they might be relatively territorial also.

The convicts (2 females) that I have in my 65 with two sen's a JD & 8 tiger barbs don't pester anything. They get run all over the place by the JD, but I haven't seen them so much as bat at an eye at the bichirs.
