compatibility question

i currently have a 6" albino tiger oscar and have been offered a 6"male dovii (that killed its female partner after spawning) and a couple of convict cross zonatum's and was wondering if i could group these fish in a 225gal tank not sure if the oscar is male or female but has started building a nest even though it is only cichlid in the tank. other fish in the tank incklude a white tip pleco, bulldog pleco, 2x tinfoil barbs at 7" and a 5" silver dollar. i plan on adding a few more red hook dollars and some geos and severums.

any ideas or opinions????

Agreed...what you have now is more on the mellow side and what you are wanting to add is going to change that tank drastically and be prepared to loose most other than the dovi eventually. If you love the fish you have now, keep it that way and avoid the war to come.
 
Whats the word on the convict x zonatums anyone seen any? So if I just add the extra red hook dollars the geos and sevs is that what you are saying?

i am very tempted but a little worried they wont get along with my oscar. these in the pics are around 6" so still have some growing and colouring up to do.
