Compatibility Question.

Are there any good sized Cichlids that are ok with Bichir?
I have a 110gal tank that I plan of having a pair of bichir in, and I'm looking for a good sized fish that will hang out in more of the mid level of the tank.
What species?
How big are they?
How many could I put in?
are there any special requirements for said species?

well theres alot of cichlid to choose from that may work, with you bichirs
perosnally, to be on the safer side, i would do some smaller less aggresive ones

such as- uaru amphiacanthoides, very preety cichlid gets to about 10"
or some in the Vieja or Geophagus spieces., that would be my personal choice, but there are many many many fish to choose from with cichlids
but some you'll probly want to stay away from are, the larger parachromis cichlids, most Amphilophus, and a few others.
